Who Are We?
We are Lutheran youth with a lust for life, working to spread God's love to the people we encounter in our everyday lives and to spread it around the world. We spread the love through servant trips to places as close as the Lummi Tribe of Native Americans near Bellingham, WA to as far away as Guatemala.

We gather to hang out and spend time in Bible study, play games, watch movies, go places, and do fun things. Come and join us - questions welcome!

Each fall we go on a retreat to spend time relaxing away from the craziness of life. We study God's Word, have deep discussions, joke around, play games, color, read, and just take some time away from the rest of the world.

In the spring we take a trip to Holden Village for some time up in the mountains. Holden has been a transformative place for many of us - the worship is awesome, food tasty, and the time to relax or hike in the scenery of the Glacier Peak Wilderness is phenomenal. Some of us look forward to this trip all year long!

Then, there is summer with The God Squad. We don't meet as often during the summer, but when we do it is intense fun, frolicking, and time with God. In past summers, we have gone to Wild Waves, had movie nights, beach parties and more. Then, there is the summer servant mission trip. These are unbeatable experiences of life in different parts of the country and the world. Visit our Summer Mission and Service Trip webpage for more information about our mission trips!

As Lutheran youth, we are guided by the Bible, which we hold as the inspired Word of God. The lens we use to read the Bible is our belief that through Christ's death and resurrection, we are saved. When we look out at life, we understand that all humans, even (or especially) ourselves, are both sinners and saints, capable of the most amazing and the most cruel actis; but at all times the Holy Spirit is present in our lives. We do our best to live in ways that Christ asks us to live, by regularly asking ourselves, "Who is my neighbor?"

Visit the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America website to learn more about being a Lutheran and what we believe.
